Photo Diner is a custom application built to connect fashion designers with buyers, bloggers, and publishers. I was respionsible for front-end development for this site, including responsive displays for mobile and tablet devices.
This was my first large-scale responsive project. Designs were provided for four major device widths (desktop, tablet horizontal, tablet vertical, and mobile). Using a flexible grid and media queries these designs were built into fully responsive displays that work well on all devices. Although the designs were provided in four specific withs, I constructed the code so that the design would adapt to any screen widths.
Most of the site is available to signed-in users only. There is also an extensive dashboard area where users are able to manage their photos, messages, and account settings. This section was built for desktop displays only.
In 2013 a new home page was implemented with parallax scrolling effect. Because of the size of the photos and layout of the home page, a separate design was implemented for small-screen devices.
